From Wallpaper to Wearable Art: Cloudy Skies Design at Agora Art Fair 2026

There are moments as an artist when you stop and think, Wow. This is really happening.

Being selected as an artist for the 2026 Agora Art Fair in Fitchburg, Wisconsin is one of those moments.

On August 15, 2026, I'll have the honor of joining more than 100 talented Wisconsin artists at this juried art festival celebrating original work, creativity and craftsmanship. I am incredibly grateful to be included among such an inspiring group of artists.

Turning Wallpaper Into Wearable Art

Cloudy Skies Design began with an unexpected idea:

What if beautiful wallpaper could become beautiful jewelry?

My handmade jewelry is created from designer wallpaper—materials that might otherwise become remnants or waste. I transform those patterns into lightweight, colorful earrings and other wearable pieces.

I love the transformation.

Wallpaper was originally designed to make a room beautiful. I give it another life by turning it into something you can wear.

That idea is at the heart of my work: seeing possibility where someone else might see leftovers.

Jewelry That Becomes Art

I've always believed art doesn't have to hang on a wall.

Sometimes you can wear it.

When a wallpaper pattern is transformed into an earring, its scale, color and personality completely change. Something that once blended into a room can become the unexpected detail that brings an outfit to life.

Because my jewelry is handcrafted in small batches from repurposed materials, every piece has its own story.

It is jewelry—but it's also wearable art.
